TLDR A 47-year-old man's eyelid swelling didn't improve with basic treatments, so a biopsy was needed.
A 47-year-old man experienced a 1-year history of a painful, red, scaly plaque-like lesion on his left lower eyelid, accompanied by madarosis. Conservative treatments, including topical antibiotics and anti-allergy medications, were ineffective. He had no systemic symptoms other than fatigue. A biopsy of the left eyelid was performed to further investigate the condition.
