TLDR A 32-year-old woman's hair loss was linked to skin nodules and severe headaches.
A 32-year-old woman experienced hypopigmented nodules on her trunk and extremities for 1 year and severe headaches due to obstructive hydrocephalus, which required an intraventricular shunt. Physical examination revealed 1- to 2-cm indurated nodules on her face, trunk, and extremities. Laboratory tests were mostly normal except for elevated liver enzyme and angiotensin-converting enzyme levels. A skin biopsy was performed to further investigate the nodules.
