TLDR A new method accurately predicts the flight path of unguided projectiles.
The study developed a universal external ballistic trajectory model for unguided projectiles using the Maclaurin Series, with empirically predicted coefficients. This model accounted for both the aerodynamics of the projectile and the gun's height above sea level. The method's results were compared with trajectory radar measurements and the modified point mass trajectory model for various projectile calibers.
