Misbah Noshela Ghazanfar, Simon Francis Thomsen
TLDR Omalizumab can cause temporary hair loss but still works well for chronic urticaria.
Omalizumab, an anti-IgE medication used for chronic urticaria, was associated with several common adverse effects, including headache and fatigue. Recently, there were reports of hair loss as a side effect. A case was described involving a young female who experienced transient hair loss after starting omalizumab.
