The study assessed the impact of a 28-day skin care regimen on the quality of life (QoL) of female consumers, involving 89 new mothers and 91 women from Australia, and 40 younger cosmetic users from China. It found significant improvements in empowerment, happiness, and self-esteem, with benefits persisting even after a 2-week withdrawal period. New mothers reported enhanced well-being and self-image, while the national group experienced increased energy and vitality. The Chinese group showed similar improvements to the new mothers. The study concluded that a quality skin care regimen positively impacted QoL, with variations due to age and personal time availability.
