The article examines dilated cardiomyopathy, characterized by the dilation of the left ventricle and atrium, leading to heart failure, which is increasingly seen in young people aged 11-30. Traditional treatments using ACE inhibitors are less effective compared to newer diuretics that block angiotensin 2 receptors. The study highlights the drug Uperio, a combination of Sacubitril and Valsartan, developed since 2017, which offers a more effective treatment for heart failure. The article emphasizes a comprehensive approach to treatment, considering both medication and risk factors, and includes a double-blind randomized trial, aiming to improve patient quality of life and treatment efficacy.
