TLDR EHF radiation and ozone therapy together improve skin flap healing.
The study aimed to evaluate microcirculation in healing skin flaps under the influence of EHF band electromagnetic radiation and systemic ozone therapy. It involved 100 rats divided into five groups, including a control group and various treatment groups. The findings revealed that EHF radiation improved skin flap engraftment by enhancing microcirculation and reducing necrosis. This beneficial effect was further amplified when EHF therapy was combined with intraperitoneal injections of ozonated saline solution.
