Questions of Teaching Medical Biochemistry as Part of an Integrated Educational Program in a Medical University

The article discussed the integration of medical biochemistry into an educational program at Semey Medical University, developed in collaboration with Bashkent University. This integrated approach aimed to align with global trends in medical education by focusing on healthcare system needs and achieving comprehensive training outcomes. The program combined medical biochemistry with other basic disciplines into modules, utilizing Bloom's taxonomy to develop learning outcomes based on complexity levels. Innovative teaching methods, including situational tasks and mini-cases, were employed to enhance knowledge application in clinical problem-solving. This approach aimed to strengthen the connection between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice, forming a foundation for advanced clinical learning.
