TLDR Acetyl tetrapeptide-3 was successfully made for use in hair loss treatments.
The study successfully synthesized acetyl tetrapeptide-3, a key ingredient for hair loss treatment and scalp care, using solid-phase peptide synthesis. The synthesis achieved a yield of over 56% and a purity of 100%, as confirmed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). This research supports the development of cosmetic products incorporating acetyl tetrapeptide-3 as an active agent for combating hair loss.
