TLDR
Laser safely and effectively removes unwanted scalp micropigmentation.
This document reports on a case series where a 1064 nm picosecond Nd:YAG laser was used to successfully remove unwanted scalp micropigmentation (SMP) in patients. Post-operative care involved applying 1% dimethicone ointment twice daily for 3-7 days. The results showed that clearance of SMP was achieved within 1-3 treatment sessions. The authors suggest that laser removal of unwanted SMP is a safe and effective treatment option.
