TLDR Hair loss is more common in summer and fall.
This study analyzed Google Trends data from 2004 to 2016 to investigate the seasonality of hair loss across 8 countries. It found that hair loss search interest (SVI) peaked in the summer and fall, particularly in northern hemisphere countries with higher GDP per capita. Temperature did not significantly affect hair loss SVI, indicating that other factors, possibly including UV index variations, might contribute to seasonal hair loss patterns. The study suggested that hair loss was more frequent in the summer and fall, with cyclical annual patterns observed in search interest.
