    This study investigated the effects of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on full-thickness skin wound healing in 12 rabbits. Each rabbit had two wounds, with one treated with PRP and the other serving as a control. Results showed that PRP significantly accelerated wound healing, with 58.17% closure by week 2 compared to 30.17% in controls. By week 4, both groups achieved near-complete closure, but PRP-treated wounds showed faster initial healing. Histopathological analysis revealed complete re-epithelialization and reduced inflammation in the PRP group at 2 weeks, and increased epithelial coverage with hair follicle proliferation at 4 weeks, unlike the control group. The study concludes that PRP significantly enhances wound healing, especially in the early stages, indicating its potential in improving skin wound repair.
