Progression of Body Related Viruses in Human: A Review

    Neha Rauniyar, Deepa Srivastava
TLDR Viruses continue to challenge human health despite medical advances.
The review discussed the significant impact of emerging and persistent viral infections on human health, despite advancements in biomedical sciences. It highlighted viruses such as COVID-19, Zika, Dengue, Chikungunya, Influenza A, SARS, and MERS, which are transmitted through various vectors and environmental factors. The study emphasized the importance of understanding host-pathogen interactions and environmental relationships for effective vector control and prevention of arboreal infections. Factors contributing to the evolution of pathogenic viruses included climate change, poor sanitation, rapid population growth, and new anthropophilic vectors. While medical science has made progress in combating diseases like HIV and Hepatitis, the unpredictable nature of viruses poses ongoing challenges to control and prevention efforts.
