Preparation of Finasteride Capsule and Its Stability

    TLDR The finasteride capsule is stable and effective for up to two years.
    The study aimed to develop a new type of finasteride capsule using a solvent dispersal method and evaluated its content, homogeneity, and dissolution rate using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and the paddle method. The results showed that the capsules had content levels of 99.95%, 100.50%, and 99.80% across three batches, meeting quality standards. Stability tests under various conditions indicated good stability, with a tentative expiry date of two years. The study concluded that the finasteride capsule was an ideal oral preparation.
