The study explores the development of a polyherbal chocolate formulation as a novel adjuvant therapy for managing polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). This approach leverages a Chocolate Drug Delivery System to potentially enhance the delivery and stability of active ingredients, avoiding pre-systemic elimination and first-pass metabolism. The research assessed various factors such as organoleptic properties, phytochemical screening, and physical stability, finding that formulation F2 demonstrated excellent properties and stability. The study suggests that further in vivo studies using animal models are warranted to evaluate the efficacy of this formulation in targeting PCOS and hormonal balance.
