It contains various bioactive components such as chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid, carnosic acid, and rosmarinic acid, which contribute to its wide range of activities including antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antidiabetic, antidepressant, and antiulcerogenic effects. Additionally, rosemary extract promotes hair growth and is used in cosmetic formulations to address conditions like baldness, cellulite, aging, and UV damage. Its extensive use in food and cosmetics highlights its versatility and efficacy.
