Enterobiosis in children is a significant public health issue in developing countries like Indonesia, with high prevalence in areas with poor sanitation. The disease, caused by Enterobius vermicularis, can lead to anemia, impaired growth, and cognitive development issues in children. A family medicine approach involving self-history and home visits has been effective in increasing patient awareness and compliance with treatment, ultimately improving their quality of life. This comprehensive approach is crucial for identifying problems, supporting therapy success, and enhancing patient outcomes.
