TLDR A baby girl had two brain-related growths removed and is developing normally.
A female neonate born at 39 weeks presented with two parietal cephaloceles, one 1×1 cm and the other 3×3 cm, located on the posterior midline of the head. Despite normal prenatal ultrasounds and no detected chromosomal abnormalities, postnatal imaging revealed two cystic lesions. Surgical excision was performed on the 48th day after birth, and histopathology confirmed a meningoencephalocele and a meningocele. The patient recovered well without recurrence and showed normal neurodevelopment at a 7-month follow-up.
