The study investigated the oral and systemic manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in 130 patients, predominantly female, with a mean age of 31.65 years. Arthritis and photosensitivity were the most common clinical findings, while oral ulcers were the most frequent oral pathology. Significant associations were found between nephritis and various oral manifestations, as well as between psychosis, hair loss, and skin rash. The study highlights the prevalence of oral mucosal pathologies in SLE patients and their correlation with systemic symptoms.
