TLDR The combination treatment effectively and safely cured scalp microsporia in children faster and prevented recurrence.
The study on optimizing treatment for scalp microsporia in children involved 90 participants aged 4 to 17 and tested a combination of griseofulvin, "Antral," 2% sertaconazole nitrate cream, and "Bion 3 Kid." This approach improved treatment effectiveness, reduced the duration by 1 week, and prevented recurrences and cold infections. The "Bion 3 Kid" complex was particularly noted for its safety and efficacy in enhancing recovery and preventing relapses. Overall, the comprehensive treatment was deemed effective and safe, even for children with concurrent cold-related illnesses.
