This study evaluated the efficacy of different skin grafts in burn injury healing, focusing on reepithelialization time and repigmentation rate. A meta-analysis of 7 articles, mostly low-risk bias, revealed that device-facilitated autologous skin cell transplantation significantly increased reepithelialization rates, while xenografts showed the highest repigmentation rate at 87.50%. Despite xenografts' effectiveness in wound healing, the promising results of autologous skin cell transplantation suggest its potential for clinical use due to its outstanding efficacy and minimal repigmentation.
