Use of Nutraceutical in Telogen Effluvium in Women: Results of a Prospective Clinical Observation

    TLDR "Alpenta" effectively reduces hair loss and improves hair growth in women with telogen effluvium.
    The study investigated the effectiveness of the nutriceutic "Alpenta" in treating telogen effluvium (TE) in 30 women over 12 weeks. Results showed a significant increase in the percentage of anagen hair from 73.1% to 84.8%, a 13.6% rise in terminal hair density, and an 11.2% increase in hair diameter. Clinical improvement was observed in 84.3% of participants, with 83.3% reporting reduced hair loss. The treatment was rated as "very good" or "good" in effectiveness by 80% of participants and was well-tolerated by 97%. The study concludes that "Alpenta" is a beneficial and well-tolerated treatment for women with acute or chronic TE.

      Personal experience with Procyanidin B2 shows it's ineffective for hair loss. Viviscal Pro supplement tablets, containing Procyanidin B2, didn't help after 8 months of use.
