    The study evaluated a novel hybrid polymer composed of hydrolyzed protein, alkyl chain, and silicone for hair treatment. The polymer demonstrated good substantivity, contributing to improved hair luster, manageability, smoothness, and combability, particularly in damaged hair. A sensory test with shampoo containing the polymer, even when highly diluted, supported these findings.
