TLDR A rare skin growth was successfully removed without recurrence after one year.
A 36-year-old man was diagnosed with a rare case of nevus lipomatosus cutaneous superficialis (NLCS) with folliculosebaceous cystic hamartoma (FCH), presenting as a large cerebriform mass on the sacral area. NLCS involved ectopic mature adipose tissue in the dermis, and histopathology showed clusters of mature adipocytes and a cystic follicular structure with sebaceous glands. Surgical resection was successful, with no recurrence after 1 year. This case was significant as it was only the second reported instance of NLCS with FCH.
