October 2013
TLDR The framework helps develop medical apps on mobile devices to reduce reliance on desktop computers.
The dissertation presented a framework for computer-aided analysis of medical imagery using mobile devices, aiming to reduce physicians' reliance on desktop computers. It proposed an expert system to assist in image analysis and medical procedure selection, leveraging the growing popularity and capabilities of mobile devices since the iPhone's release. The framework also supported the development of other mobile applications by providing a generic development framework. The work was divided into three parts: user interface modeling, game development modeling, and a generic mobile application framework, with an initial focus on hair transplant and glaucoma domains.
