TLDR Late onset of first period and irregular development of sexual traits in teenage girls can lead to poorer reproductive health.
The study aimed to identify factors causing menstrual-ovarian cycle disorders in adolescent girls in the Bukhara region and develop preventative measures for reproductive dysfunctions. The findings suggest that disruptions in the development, pace, and timing of secondary sexual characteristics, including later onset of menarche, contribute to a lower level of reproductive health. The study emphasizes the need for an integrated approach and timely correction of premorbid conditions during adolescence. It also suggests the potential for individualized preconception training for each girl, starting from adolescence, to enhance the country's reproductive potential.
