Linear Morphea with Evidence of Hair Regrowth

    TLDR Topical treatments led to hair regrowth in a man with linear morphea.
    A 32-year-old male with an 8-month history of alopecia on the frontal scalp was diagnosed with early, inflammatory linear morphea, characterized by a sclerotic plaque and associated hair loss. Initial treatment with minoxidil was ineffective, but subsequent use of topical calcitriol, desonide cream, fluocinonide cream, and later pimecrolimus cream led to hair regrowth. Dermoscopy played a crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring the disease, highlighting its importance in managing linear morphea and tracking treatment progress.
