The study successfully isolated, cultured, and identified rat hair follicle stem cells (rHFSCs) using a combination of microscopy, tissue block cultivation, and collagen IV anchorage velocity-dependent separation. The rHFSCs demonstrated strong proliferation ability and high purity, with positive expression of Keratin-15, Integrin-α6, and Integrin-β1. The cells entered a logarithmic growth phase after 5-6 days, although cell vitality decreased after passage 7. The research concluded that the methods used could provide high-quality seeding cells for tissue engineering applications, such as constructing artificial hair follicles, blood vessels, and skin.
