    TLDR Hemp seed oil shows promise in treating localized alopecia areata.
    The study evaluated the effectiveness of hemp seed oil in treating alopecia areata in 20 patients. After 8 weeks, 25% showed marked hair regrowth, 40% moderate, 10% mild, and 25% no response. Pathologically, 25% had significant lesion improvement, 50% moderate, and 10% mild. The results suggest hemp seed oil as a promising treatment, though further research with more participants is needed.
