Clinical And Pathological Evaluation Of Hemp Seed Oil Effectiveness In The Treatment Of Alopecia Areata

The study evaluated the effectiveness of hemp seed oil in treating alopecia areata in 20 patients. After 8 weeks, 25% showed marked hair regrowth, 40% moderate, 10% mild, and 25% no response. Pathologically, 25% had significant lesion improvement, 50% moderate, and 10% mild. The results suggest hemp seed oil as a promising treatment, though further research with more participants is needed.
