TLDR The plants are safe from heavy metal toxicity.
The study analyzed the presence of heavy metals (Cu, Cr, Cd, Hg, As, and Pb) in medicinal plants Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, Eclipta alba, and Solanum nigrum using atomic absorption spectroscopy. These plants are known for their medicinal properties and pharmacological activities. The research aimed to assess the heavy metal content in these plants and compare it with WHO guidelines. The results showed that the levels of heavy metals were within safe limits, indicating that the extracts of these plants were safe concerning heavy metal toxicity.
