TLDR Human hair follicles' biomagnetic fields might contribute to migraines.
This manuscript proposed a hypothesis that the intrinsic pulsating biomagnetic fields of human hair follicles could be a factor in the etiology of migraine headaches. It built on previous research that showed the effectiveness of external pulsed electromagnetic fields in treating and preventing migraines. The hypothesis was supported by studies confirming the inherent biomagnetism of hair follicles, demonstrated through a novel optical microscopy technique using Prussian Blue Stain mixed with iron particles. The manuscript expanded on these findings by documenting the pulsating biomagnetic field reach of hair follicles using diamagnetic and paramagnetic preparations, supported by still microphotographs and video recordings.
