The article provides framework guidelines for the care of adolescent transgender and non-binary individuals experiencing gender dysphoria or gender incongruence, developed by a multidisciplinary expert panel. It emphasizes individualized, affirmative care that respects adolescents' autonomy and identity, outlining best practices for assessments, hormonal interventions, and ethical medical decision-making. The guidelines advocate for comprehensive support systems, including family involvement and multidisciplinary collaboration, while addressing mental health and neurodiversity.
