Clinical and histopathological features confirmed the diagnosis of FFA. The article suggests that low serum androgen levels due to the antiandrogen therapy might play a role in the induction of FFA. The authors propose that future studies should measure testosterone serum levels to assess the influence of hormonal therapies on the development of FFA.
