TLDR Epipharyngeal Abrasive Therapy helps reduce symptoms in Long COVID patients with chronic epipharyngitis.
The study evaluated the effectiveness of Epipharyngeal Abrasive Therapy (EAT) in 31 Long COVID (LC) patients with chronic epipharyngitis. Significant improvements were observed in bleeding and interview scores, indicating symptom reduction, although no significant changes were noted in autonomic function tests, suggesting these may take longer to improve. Despite a high dropout rate, the study concludes that EAT is a useful, noninvasive treatment for LC patients with chronic epipharyngitis.
