Emulgels are a novel topical medication delivery system that combines gel and emulsion to effectively transfer hydrophobic medicines into the bloodstream through the skin. This formulation offers advantages such as improved adhesion, spreadability, viscosity, and extrusion, making it an optimal method for incorporating hydrophobic drugs into water-soluble gel bases.
