TLDR Quadruple-coated probiotics significantly improve IBS symptoms.
The study investigated the efficacy of quadruple-coated probiotics in patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) through a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group design. A total of 200 participants were enrolled and divided into two groups: one receiving the probiotics and the other a placebo. Results showed that the group receiving the quadruple-coated probiotics experienced significant improvements in IBS symptoms compared to the placebo group. The findings suggest that quadruple-coated probiotics could be an effective treatment option for managing IBS symptoms.
