TLDR HASHA is a safe and effective option for chin augmentation.
HASHA (Restylane Shaype), a new hyaluronic acid injectable with high strength and concentration, was evaluated for chin augmentation and correction of chin retrusion in a study with 140 subjects (103 received HASHA, 37 were controls). The study found that 83.3% of the HASHA group showed significant improvement in chin retrusion at 3 months, compared to 10.8% in the control group, with results maintained through 12 months. Both investigators and subjects reported high aesthetic improvement and satisfaction, and adverse events were mostly mild or moderate and transient. No serious adverse events were reported, indicating that HASHA is a safe and effective option for chin augmentation.
