The study conducted at Nidan Hospital in Lalitpur, Nepal, from May 2017 to April 2018, included 160 patients and aimed to profile cosmetic consultations in a general dermatology clinic. Results showed that 74% of those seeking cosmetic consultations were female, 43% were employed, 57% had at least a Bachelor's degree, and most were from a middle to high socioeconomic background. The predominant age group was 26 to 35 years, accounting for 36% of consultations. The most common concern was wrinkles (37%), and the most frequent procedure was chemical peeling (59%), with mesotherapy (16%) and mole removal (12%) following. There was a significant correlation between seeking cosmetic consultations and higher economic (p=0.000) and employment status (p=0.007), indicating that cosmetic dermatology services were mainly utilized by young, educated, employed females of higher socioeconomic status.
