This study conducted a double-blinded randomized controlled trial to compare the efficacy of single-spin and double-spin platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapies in treating androgenetic alopecia (AGA) in 60 male patients aged 22 to 60 years. The trial took place at the Pak Emirates Military Hospital in Rawalpindi from June to November 2024. Patients were divided into two groups: Group A received single-spin PRP, and Group B received double-spin PRP, with treatments administered at 0, 3, and 6 weeks, followed by an evaluation at the 8th week. The primary outcome was measured using SALT and Likert scores to assess improvements in hair growth. The study aimed to determine which PRP preparation technique was more effective in treating AGA.
