TLDR Climate change can cause migration, spreading and increasing skin diseases.
The review explored the link between climate change, human migration, and skin diseases, highlighting that climate change-induced extreme weather events can destabilize regions, prompting migration. Migrants often carry diseases from their origins and are vulnerable to new diseases in their destinations. Skin diseases in migrants fall into three categories: communicable, noncommunicable, and environmentally mediated diseases. The review emphasized the need for global strategies to address the health challenges faced by migrants, particularly in dermatology.
