TLDR A benign skin tumor was removed from a man's leg, and it didn't come back after 9 months.
Trichoblastoma, a benign skin tumor composed of follicular germinative cells, was reported in a 58-year-old man as a solitary, multilobular tumor on his right lower leg. Histopathology revealed a well-circumscribed dermal tumor with palisaded basaloid epithelial cells and lobules surrounded by hyalinized collagen, resembling hair bulbs. The tumor tested positive for cytokeratin 14 but negative for cytokeratin 10. It was successfully excised with clear margins, and no recurrence was observed 9 months post-surgery.
