TLDR The brow-suspension suture is a quick, safe, and effective alternative to traditional brow lifts.
The study described a brow-suspension suture procedure as a safe, effective, and minimally invasive alternative to conventional brow-lifting surgeries. Conducted on 9 patients with medial or lateral brow ptosis, the procedure used Mersilene suture and a Keith needle to lift the brow under local anesthesia, taking less than 30 minutes. All patients reported satisfactory results, with normal brow levels restored and no pain experienced during the procedure. They were able to resume daily activities the next day and expressed a preference for this method over traditional brow-lifting techniques. The procedure was highlighted for its time and cost efficiency, as well as its effective outcomes.
