    TLDR Open brow lifts are still important and effective in cosmetic surgery.
    The systematic review compared open and endoscopic techniques for brow lifts, analyzing 189 articles and including 15 that met the criteria. The study found no clear evidence that open methods are inferior to endoscopic approaches. Despite the evolution of brow-lift surgery since the early 1990s, there were no prospective randomized trials comparing the outcomes of different techniques. The review highlighted the lack of high-quality comparative studies and affirmed the continued relevance of open brow lifts in cosmetic surgery.
