    The quality improvement initiative at Children’s Hospital of Orange County aims to increase awareness and utilization of nonprofit pediatric wig programs by at least 50% over 3 months. This is achieved through distributing 1,000 pamphlets, posting QR-coded signs, and providing staff education. The pamphlets detail eligibility, ordering, and customization options for free wigs. Surveys assess changes in provider awareness and family feedback. The initiative seeks to reduce financial barriers and improve psychosocial support for children with medical hair loss. If successful, the program will expand to include EMR integration, multilingual materials, and routine discharge planning.
