TLDR The treatment effectively reduces hair loss and improves hair growth with minimal side effects.
The study evaluates the Bioengineered Exosomal Hair Growth Factors Complex (BEHC™) for treating androgenetic alopecia, showing promising results. In vitro, the treatment significantly increased human follicle dermal papilla cell proliferation by 172.4% and reduced inflammatory markers IL-6 and IL-1β. In vivo, involving 85 participants, the treatment reduced hair shedding from 7.8 to 1.4 hairs and improved hair density and thickness, with effects lasting two months post-treatment. The BEHC™ is a minimally invasive and effective option for hair loss management with minimal adverse effects, representing a significant advancement in regenerative dermatology.
