The V International Workshop on Rational Use of Medicines, organized by the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Sorocaba, focused on the global concern of rational medicine use and its impact on society and health systems. The event aimed to improve professional practices through the engagement of researchers, health professionals, and students in discussions on topics such as Drug Utilization Research, Health Technology Assessment, and Innovation in Health Technologies. Despite social distancing, the workshop successfully facilitated international collaboration and knowledge sharing among experts in deprescribing, interactive teaching, and pharmaceutical care.
