Proximal nailfold dermoscopy is highlighted as an effective, low-cost, and easily accessible method for observing microvascular changes in COVID-19 patients. This technique allows for the examination of the vascular endothelium, providing valuable insights into the microvascular alterations associated with the disease. The study suggests that nailfold dermoscopy could be a useful tool in the clinical assessment and monitoring of COVID-19 patients, offering a non-invasive way to gain information about the vascular impact of the virus.
