    The study focused on the cutaneous manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in the Malwa region of India, involving 100 subjects. It found that 82% of patients exhibited skin manifestations, with photosensitivity (42%), malar rash (35%), and discoid rash (30%) being the most common. Additionally, 18% had oral ulcers, and 12% experienced Raynaud’s phenomenon. The study highlighted the importance of understanding both specific and nonspecific skin lesions in SLE for better diagnosis and management, emphasizing the need for dermatologists to collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive care for SLE patients.
