TLDR The method effectively measures hair elasticity and could be useful in forensics.
The study developed a rapid and sensitive method to assess the stretch elasticity modulus of hair keratin by measuring the oscillation resonance frequency of hair fragments fixed at one end. Initial results demonstrated the method's high sensitivity and suggested its potential application in forensic medicine.
