TLDR Guduchi and Yashtimadhu can reduce chemotherapy side effects.
The study evaluated the efficacy of Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) and Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra) in mitigating the side effects of chemotherapy in cancer patients. Conducted with 38 participants divided into four groups, the research administered these herbal treatments over 90 days. Results indicated significant improvements in chemotherapy side effects, except for alopecia, with notable enhancements in hemoglobin, total leucocyte count, and platelet count. The combination of Guduchi and Yashtimadhu, particularly in group D, showed highly significant results, suggesting that integrating these Ayurvedic treatments could effectively reduce chemotherapy's adverse effects.
